Misfits

Phisical ability: In this tv programme the 5 teens are shown to be young affenders from not to well backgrounds and are put together to help the council with jobs that have been done either by them or other young teens that are messing up the council area where they live. They soon see that theres more to just helping people when they find themselves with powers that bring them trouble and problems they have to solve with these different powers. The powers they have are invisability, rewinding the future into the past, immortalitiy, mind reading and attraction. These powers help them out a lot and they work together as a team to stop the social worker finding out they have these powers that they could get into trouble for having and be exposde to the world, by killing the social worker it brings them a lot of problems which there used to but not like this. They slowly learn to control there powers and be careful when to use them.

I have learnt from the director Wes Anderson that he likes to use natural colours in his films and doesn't like to pick to far out there colours, he also uses the camera shot 'symmetrical shot' a lot in his films. He uses the actors Billy Murry and Owen frequently in his films, and says he thinks the people who watch his films are outsiders. I couldn't say I have ever seen one of Wes Anderson's films and ever thought of seeing one they aren't my sort of style.

I have learnt from the director Shylon that one of his band members died Gideon Bavs of viral myocraditis, and that they formed in 1994. He focus's on animation not using any real actors/actresses. He made music videos for cold play and blur. I have watched the film Scott Pilgrim and the music they did to the film was amazing its a different beat to anything else and crabs your attention.

I have learnt from the director Spike Jonze his primary audience are teenagers. The style he uses in his films are using stunts a lot when not really necessarily needed, as seen in jackass one of the films he made and is renowned. His films are different by how wild, creative and unreal they are. I have watched the film jackass and really enjoyed it but his style isn't for everyone.

I have learnt from the director Anton Corbijn the his trademarks are washed otu colours that make old things look new, he also uses a lot of abstract and weird features in his films. He produced the music video for the killers and produced the film the american. He did photographed the rolling stones for a magazine. I havent seen much of his work but his music videos stand out to me as he uses old fashion clothes and style but it works well for him.

About Me

I have chosen to study this subject as I enjoy watching films and listening to music and would love to learn about how directors or producers create films. I am also studying textiles and health and social. I like a verity of different bands and singers but my favourite artist at the moment that I listen to the most would be David guetta as his music is dance and he features well known people in each of his videos.

My favourite tv programmes are misfits, glee, the big bang theory and x factor. My favourite film at the minute is hangover, but I do not have a favourite director as I like many different films made by different directors. I read OK magazine and any clothing magazine so I can stay in style. I have Facebook and that's it.
